One app. 3 transportation modes.
By shuttle, taxi or carpool, the app adapts to each use case.
Carpool, the Netlift way
Take the example of Marta, a driver who uses the Netlift app. Her goal: to find a carpooler to share her daily commute with and thus benefit from all the advantages offered by her employer (commuter benefits, cash back, free parking space, involvement in inter-company competitions, etc.)
With a few clicks, Marta downloads the Netlift app and creates an account by carefully selecting her organization from the drop-down menu.
By signing up for the Netlift application, you also join a closed community with which you can take to the road every day.
Marta creates a ride on the application. She makes herself available for carpooling with her colleagues.
The Netlift app offers you the necessary flexibility to create and update your rides according to your needs and availability: recurrence of rides, number of available seats, possibility of carpooling for the ride there, back, or both!
Carpooling options are made available to Marta and she has the choice to be matched with the user who best meets her needs.
The Netlift algorithm takes into consideration all the variables of your commute and allows you to find carpoolers that best fit your work schedule.
The app calculates the fare for the ride based on its distance and displays it to Alex, a potential carpooler, before he agrees to carpool with Marta.
By adding your banking information to your profile, no need to exchange money; each ride is charged to the passenger once completed.
Marta confirms her match with Alex. She can now reserve her parking space.
Not only does carpooling help reduce greenhouse gases, but it also opens the door to other benefits, depending on the employer, such as low-cost parking spots that can be reserved before driving.
On the day of the ride, Alex lets Marta know on the chat that he will be waiting for her on the corner, just a few steps from his home.
Thanks to an instant messaging system built into the app, you can easily communicate with other users.
Once Alex arrives at the pick-up location, he gets into the vehicle and Marta presses the "Pickup" button to confirm the start of the carpooling ride.
The progress of the ride is done in real time through the app and various features are available to confirm each step of the process and thus provide a proof of carpooling to your employer.
Marta takes advantage of a break at work to convince other colleagues to sign up by explaining all the benefits she enjoys.
All the details of your employer's carpooling program are available on a website dedicated to the organization's employees.
Marta has to leave work early. Alex is eligible for a guaranteed ride home as no other driver is available to provide transportation. He books a taxi via the app to get home without a hassle.
As a passenger, you will never be left on your own if your driver cannot ensure you with a return ride as planned.
